By twenty-two, Maurice Crawford had been sentenced to 40 years in prison. It was a normal story for a young man raised on the dangerous streets of Little Rock, AR. Once inside prison, Maurice worked on the hoe squad, furniture assembly, kitchen and at the State Police Headquarters. In prison, he made a commitment to change his life for the better. He decided to leave the life he once led for a better life. The journey was a path towards redemption and reconciliation within himself. He is now a speaker on human potential and a dedicated mentor to the youth.
